A few weeks ago, before Christmas, we took our friend Matthew to
LAX so that he could visit his parents in
Papua New Guinea. We picked him up again from LAX on Saturday. He had a nice visit, though it seems there were a few mishaps like canceled flights and out of the way re-routes to get where he had to be. He had his brother and sister with him, so he was not alone. They got it all worked out and had a great visit with his parents who do language translation missionary work with the tribes there.
The last time his parents came out to visit, he raved that they had brought him a wooden alligator for Christmas. We thought that was fabulous. So Matthew brought us our very own wooden alligator that we proudly have on display in our book case. It took up a whole shelf.
Thank you Matthew!

I was so excited to get him! I think he is quite fearsome looking :) That was so kind of Matthew.
That is really pretty cool!
That's awesome! Have you named him yet? ;)
GO GATORS!
Im not sure how blogger has managed to wipe me off your bloggers follow list...but im still here!
@Muse:
I was wondering why I lost some followers to my blog. I thought maybe I had not posted anything to yours in a while. I do look quite often, and enjoy many of your posts but find it hard to comment on them. Thanks for stopping by and following again.
your are welcome...
please, may i ask...which ones do you find it hard to comment on? :)
Muse,
I don't usually play "games" so I leave all the funny word games alone. Your poetry and prose is often oriented to the ladies, and I have a hard time competing with 30+ ladies who have already gushed all over it, leaving me with some lame comment like "that was nice". I really like real life details and getting to know people, which is where I usually comment on blogs I visit. But please keep up your Muse work. I regularly refer others because I like your site so much. Also missing you on Twitter.
great words to consider for me!
many of my writer friends, like word games...
many of my readers like prose...
i do have more writing, based on inner self and spiritual battles...
perhaps now is the time to share...
i cannot thank you enough for your honesty!
and yes i do need to fire up the twitter...
(ps...don't sell yourself short on a simple "that was nice" lol most days, Muses take what they can get...LOL LOL )
